Hamburg is a wonderful, queer-friendly city in the north of Germany. With almost 1.8 million inhabitants, Hamburg is the second largest city after Berlin.
Hamburg is known for its harbor, which can be excellently explored from the Landungsbrücken, as well as the city center with Inner and Outer Alster Lake. Also worth a visit is the historic warehouse district right (“Speicherstadt”) next to the new harbor city (“Hafencity”). Both districts offer an attractive architecture and great photo opportunities! The queer center of the city can be found in St. Georg in the immediate vicinity of the central station, around the “Lange Reihe”.
Hamburgers are often considered cool and reserved, but are very polite. Dare, talk to us! 🙂
